Ok, prototype is done. Need to clean it up and paint it. Had to weld on a little brace too. But I am really pleased with how it turned out. I think it will work well. Thoughts?

To start off, I'm going to route it through the door jamb. I don't think it's tight enough to pinch it, then I'll take it through the back panel on the side up to the front. I've heard it said that if you are going to only drill one hole, drill it for the cable...but I'm still going to hold out and hope I don't get a kink. I technically could run it down through the taillight enclosure, or even hide it just inside the door and take it all the way to under the car or pass it through where the tailgate wire bundle goes through. But for now, I'm going to try through the jamb.

You could always use a bulkhead connector.

I am sorry. I was very specific that there should be a bottle opener option. I don't see it. Am I missing something???? ;)

The key word is "option". This is the entry-level model with no options. :D

It was a bigger pain than I expected and a lot of bend, try fitment, bend, try fitment. And I use the safety switch post as one of my mounting holes, which is only on the drivers side.

I'm wondering if I stopped by Firestick here in Phoenix if they would be interested in producing the design. If course, need to find out if it even works first...
