Found a 2 bbr GM quadraject carb. and you can see the difference from the dauntless carb on the left and the better condition one on the right.

Also picked up the blasted fenders.....gonna need some TLC to get them in a better condition with some 14 guage plate.

After removing the layers of bondo you can see the real damage of the previous patch work it had so it will be re cut and welded to be built stronger.

Hopefully plan on getting back on this project next month and finish the sheet metal welding and maybe do a spring over to give it some height. Progress photos coming soon.

Never seen front fenders rust quite like that before. I think it would be worth just getting some better stock fenders and rebuilding that upper section on them.

I welded up one of the fenders with 14 guage plate just need to finish welding them and them il put them all together for mock up with the grille support. I cut all the rust out.

From June on out il be restoring it. I thought about a spring over but I don't want it too high so il just leave it stock height.

finally got some more work done and repaired the fenders with 14 guage plate. Im pleased so far. Over the next months il get some body work done on them and get them lined. Hope to be done with all the rust repairs by next month and put in a new steering column and start on the disc brake conversion.
