Looking good but I think you need to fix the notch in the cross member. What you have left is basically a piece of flat material bridging two stiff channels. It's a stress concentration that'll prolly crack.

If it's necessary for the driveshaft clearance I'd move it back or add some vertical section below the notch.

Where are you saying the crack might occur? On either end of the notch?

Thank you for your input!

Maybe at the welds, probably at the ends. Maybe not at all. Just not a good design.

I love that color. If I ever build another crawler that's what I plan to paint it. It looks great IMO.

It's not going to run well with that bag on the intake filter. Lol.

Are the gauges just plugged into OBDII?

Curious how those work out for ya.

Looks great!

The Gauges are speedhut's freedom CAN-BUS gauges. The colors and font are custom made from them, I am excited to see how they work!

Might see if I can make some modifications to it so it'll hold up better.

On your LS, where did you source and did you have option of specifying a truck style oil pan or was there a separate purchase? Thanks - inspirational build you have there.

I bought the ls3 from summit originally, and they only come with a Camaro/g8 oil pan so I had to order a truck pan for a 6.2 4wd Sierra. Though I think the truck pans are all the same, I just wanted to make sure.

Finally got around to molding the gauge cluster in. It's definitely not perfect, but it'll work!

Any details on the speed but wiring? Are they going through the OBD2?
