700R4 is a 4L60. The computer version is 4L60E. 4L80s are pretty rare and mostly behind diesels. The rest are 4L80Es. Just to avoid future confusion.

The Chevy site guys yell at "newbs" that can't tell the difference.

Right on Carnuck,Please don't base anything I say on money! but as a starting point for hours of research,or a quick comment dashed off my phone,and then beware, most of the information I see is based on feelings and not facts and then there are those who are always looking for someone to discredit.
I specialize in automotive air conditioning in hot rods and muscle cars,but even after 45 years of a/c installations,repair,fabrication,and parts sales I am surprised daily by something I've never seen before.

still working on the J10 mucho details makes it slow going, my son steve is just about finished integrating the wiring, using a 99 Tahoe loom for the engine 89 burb fuse panel/ loom for body/87 grand Waggie instrument panel, picture is of Novak dual pass cross flow aluminum rad set up for LM7, cheers

That bumper was made several years ago after I hit a deer and messed up the original grille/fender/core support, didn't want to mess up the gladiator grille so made a bumper out of C steel next deer I hit just bounced off the bumper and then ran over it the Mustang behind me didn't fair as well

Hah, many years ago I was driving in my '75 Cherokee and a deer jumped off an embankment and landed half way on my hood. Left four scrapes through the paint from its front hooves. Scared the crap out of me! Lucky it didn't shatter the windshield.

The Gen IV evap fits like it was made for FSJ's and I love that the later model dash control head works with VA control module,only thing coming up is fabricating the underdash panel for the a/c vents gonna make it look the original underdash unit I think

It's the little things, friend of my son, Dan , fabricated this steering stabilizer , had a Rancho str stab kit on it and really hated all the U- bolts.

We're still here

. Just tons of details, remounted Reinforced Tad's rear mounts, fabbing the exhaust right now trying to get the converters and O2 sensors in the right, mounted the tranny cooler and a/c condenser fan

We're still working on this project! It's back down at my shop for tubes n hoses

started with the easy stuff while I figure out how to do the rest,got to make fuel lines,a/c lines, power steering with hydro boost , evap tubes ---- these two pics are of power steering gear to single pass cooler, tubing is 5/16 OD .035 seamless stainless steel, at the cooler the nut and sleeve are -6 steel with double flare tube, the .035 tubing flares easy and hasn't split, the steering gear is a Lares 500 box pretty much identical externally to the original with quicker ratio, so it uses a 3/8 flare nut with double flare,next will be the return line to pump
