Got to do a little wheeling in May. Finally, no breakage! New scars though. Trees got a bit tight in spots.

No doubt! Its time for some more tubing, though. Bigger tires means harder/more dangerous obstacles. I like my dome intact! Just looked at my join date for IFSJA, July 2006!

With cleaning the spark plugs not something high on my to do list every time i want to drive the jeep, and weighing the cost of rebuild and fuel injection, i decided it was time for a change. 5.3l out of a 2004 yukon. Plan is to have it swapped in before the colorado trip next year.

And if anyone was wondering, it weighs 5320 with 18 gallons of fuel and me(185lb) in it. Cat scale by the house. Not terrible, considering there is probably 1600lb of axle/tire/wheels alone.

Well, wheeled it hard again a few weekends ago. And broke the front driveshaft cv again which broke the tcase housing when it unloaded. Time for an atlas when the new drivetrain gets installed!

Also installed some ls3 manifolds to help with exhaust routing. Flanges facing down instead of at the frame now. Not bad for $40.

Got a bunch done this weekend. Had aluminum some angle iron tigged to the sides of the radiator since the brackets that came with it weren't going to work. Fan mounted up as well. Plenty of clearance to the water pump snout. Got my power steering reservoir mounted. And then modified the drive by wire pedal and installed it. Radiator hoses are upper and lower pieces from a 2008 chevy Silverado. Cut off the not needed portions.
