I said it on IFSJA and I will say it here. Amazing workmanship. This build has inspired me to do the same with a 86 Grand waggoneer and 84 J10 I have at home. I have just begun the tire kicking phase of the project. Keep up the good work.

finally got my transmission extension, so i could get my transfercase installed. it is a NP241c out of a '98 K1500 pickup. i used the stock shifter from the chevy pickup. i was able to use the stock crossmember in the stock location, i fliped it around 180* and had to modify it alittle. but the transfercase does not hang below the frame. now i just need to measure for some driveshafts. just a few more things to hook up and fluids to fill, i should be able to start it up soon.

Looks very nice.

I wonder if you should gusset the bracket that you welded onto the crossmember?...

Awesome progress. Looks like it took a bit of a shakedown run, how was it?

if you call backing out of the garage and back in a shakedown run, lol. still need a throttle cable, so it is a bit slow.

also don't know why but my transmission wants to grind for a second when i shift into park, but only when the transfer case is in neutral. the transmission is brand new and shifts great in 2wd and 4wd? thoughts?

That's normal, the trans has no resistance to slow down. Happens with my TJ when I'm wheeling and I miss one of the t-case shifts. I have to turn the rig off to get it back in.

Love the build BTW. What's your plan for paint, if any?

I think they all will grind if you shift the tranny from any gear to park with the engine running and the TC in
neutral.

Did some work on my suspension. the clearance to the oil pan and front driveshaft were to close for my liking. there are really no options for out early post mount FSJ's for lifts. what i decided to do was to use a 2.5" add-a-leaf and place it into the original 2" spring pack. this would be hard to do in a stock aplication but with my axle swap it was not a big deal.

The truck sits 2" higher in the back then the front, just how i wanted it to. from the rockers to the ground it measures 19" just behing the front wheel, and 21" just infront of the rear wheel. the tires on it mow ar very worn out 31's i plan to go with some 33's.

I am really liking its stance. Nicely done.

Was it just a standard add a leaf?

I ran Goodyear DuraTrac LT285/75R16's on a 03 F250 I had and loved them. Plan on running them on my rig eventually.
