Haha that is awesome! Thanks for the morning chuckle! Stay weird, makes it more fun.

Oh no.. I had the same dream. Is this one of those love triangles everybody's talking about? Weird..

I'm jealous! It looks great! BTW, you want to come to NC to help out with my cummins swap on my GW? I want to go with a four link setup and leafs out back, but I was curious if I could get away with coilovers up front with a 6BT? You kept it very clean and that my goal...

Oh easily. You just have to go with much stiffer springs for the added weight. Would also advise a D60 up front for the added weight.
I have a 06 ford 350 superduty front 60 and sterling 10.5 for out back, thankfully both already have disc brakes! What can I add to the rear of the Jeep to counter the weight of the 6bt? Was thinking bumper with tire carrier, fuel cell, and dual batteries in the rear...
BigJ did you find a way to remove the front vent window? I was curious if a 2dr xj window assembly would be close to fitting? You folks are making my major GW overhaul grow into something much larger. I'm gonna need more FUND$$$$!

Do you have a build thread? We should move this convo there so that we do not hijack this thread anymore.
I had the same idea in mind for my Cherokee. The dash pad was cracked over the speaker so I cut it out. Now I just need to make the same type tray for mine.
BigJ200 wrote:I decided to make better use of the hole where the original AM radio speaker was located in the top of the dash. It now has a tray welded in it's place.
It is 11" long and 1.5" deep. The plan is to fully insulate it and install a lid that locks. Much better use of space.
I welded the glove box area shut and cut holes for AC vents, AC controls and stereo.
More pics with the components in place to test fit before paint.
How did I miss this for so long? This is an awesome build!!!! Just curious what did you end up doing for transfer case shifter? Or did I miss that part?
I picked up my bumper from the powder coater today. Turned out very nice. And now I finally have a winch with built in air compressor. I typically use CO2, but this thing puts it out!

That thing is a work of art. Next Wednesday-Friday I'll be camping up at Bonneville hot springs for my birthday. There's a retired guard station cabin I've got booked about 5 minutes from the springs. http://www.recreation.gov/camping/warm- ... rkId=70808
You need to come up highway 21 and give me a joy ride in that monster! I'll share some campfire steak from my grandpa's farm out of New Plymouth with you in exchange.
I stopped in at Factor 55 and they classed up my bumper with their latest recovery gear. Their new Flat Link is a work of art. Great guys and they're setting me up as a dealer too. I've seen a lot of recovery gear over the past 30 years, but Factor 55 is the best I've ever seen.
