Lobie, how much total lift to you think you gained with your rear suspension?

Hard to tell. It was not stock. I'd say its a little less that Tads shackle flip. Maybe 6" from stock. ???
It had a 4" rough country lift on it and I gained about another inch or so. But the 63" springs seem a lot better than the lift springs that were on it. Softer.

By the way. Are you the one I sold the back window trim to a couple yrs ago?

Yup, that's me. That trim is still sitting in my garage....lol

Took the camper out this weekend for the first time this year. Wasn't planning on working on the jeep but rain was coming in so we left early this morning.

Got quite a bit of wiring done. The computer is all wired up and just need to work the fuse box.

The air filter is on and the radiator hoses are done.

The hoses I posted a couple posts back work perfect with a little trimming. The upper works great around the air filter. I still need to make a support for the filter to keep it off the hose.

Do you have any part numbers on your air filter setup?
Which mass air meter are you using?

This is the air filter. (It needs to be cleaned). Don't get k&N. Get a high quality multi layer filter.

The throttle body is 4" so I used a reducer 90 Deg from 4" to 3.5"
I've used Intake Hoses for several builds.

The metal is some 3.5" exhaust I had in the garage.

I'm not running a MAF. Going SD. I have EFI Live so will program and tune myself.

The wire hanging by the alternator is for the IAT sensor which I will put in right before the TB. Need to get a grommet.

Well, reality has set in and don't believe I will make it to ECI with the jeep. It will be the dodge and the camper.

I've been busy at work working wknds and have counted 3 wknds available to work on the jeep. Just wont happen.

Haven't made too much progress but have been going through the original wiring.
I'm deleting the original fuse box and using a modern one. Also redoing the burnt and crisp wires along with using relays on the higher amp components (head lights, rear window, main ignition, etc.).

I've completed the cab wiring and gauge cluster. It's tedious but going to be worth it. Behind the dash is much cleaner.

All I have left to do is the fuse box wiring. All the wiring is labeled just need to hook them up.

Image

Used most of the original pin connectors on the cluster and incorporated the new gauge I put in.
Image

Bunch of wires to go to fuse box.
Image

Relays are laid out. Fuses will go where needed.

Been in Atlanta all week for a seminar. I found theses tires on the way and couldn't pass them up.
It's a cooper tire off brand and they are blems. Bought many interco blems in the past so I thought I'd give it a go. They're 35x12.50. Was $175 installed and got a used buckshot for a spare.

It MIGHT make ECI....... Gonna finish wiring it this wknd and swap out the rear axle. Still waiting on the front spring tower for the front axle.

Looking good! That large purple wire...I have a similar wire in my fuse block. It has a single connector on the end. Is this a starter wire?

Yup. Purple from the starter relay to the starter.

GM is pretty color coordinated.
Orange = hot at all times.
Pink = hot on start & ign.

Been like that for yrs. Makes wiring these easy.

These two wires are about the only ones I cant identify. One is the purple one I asked about. The other is the green one with a 2 wire connector.

The one in your hand looks like the AC compressor connector.

Hey Lobie, those tires you got. Are they mastercrafts? It kind of looks like them by the tread. I'm running some on my J10 and just to let you know, I love them. Really good grip in mud and very quiet on the road.

Then it should be about the same. Mastercraft is an offshoot of Cooper. I got mine for 175 each at Cardinal Tire in Salisbury.

Worked on the waggy a couple hours this afternoon. Got the rear axle swaped out and installed.
Also pulled it 1" forward since the 63" springs pushed it back so far.
The tires stick out a little more than I'd like but it is what it is.
