Well I made a ton of progress today. Got the engine, tranny, TC, driveshafts, and gas tank out. Next up, gonna clean up the firewall, wiring, and take the old motor mounts out.

Does anyone know where I can get some rubber bushings for just the front core support. I don't need a full set or the poly bushings. Just looking for two new bushings. TIA

So BJ's hooked me up with a set of front core support bushings so I didnt have to buy the whole set. Thanks Ryan!
Got a little bit done last night. Removed the stock motor mounts. They came out much easier then expected. I got the new mounts in just to make sure they fit. I also was able to set the motor in there to check for clearance. Fits great!! I did have to remove the pass side exhaust manifold to get it in.

Oh yeah definitely Blake. I am just making sure things fit right now. My plan is to re-paint the entire engine bay and the front frame section. I will also clean up the engine a bit, there are a lot of parts I need to replace.

Good question. I still have a year left before emissions are due. My plan was to get it running without and work with the emissions place to see what I need. If you read this thread I started on another forum and read post #6.

Yep, that EVAP is going to be the hardest. I had to do it on my 77 Cherokee. Fortunately, Ford and GM used engine vacuum to test the system. Chrysler used a small air pump. You will need to add the pressure sensor in the tank (could be mounted other places also, just has to be connected to the tank) and the EVAP control valves.

Your ECU will have an EGR emissions monitor, so you have to it connected. They look for this when they do the inspection. A set of headers for the year of the engine should have a fitting for the EGR tube.
