For the heater box I got some peal and stick from the roofing section of home depot. Just like the dynomat stuff. I didn't remove the box to fix it, just put it directly over it.

For the TAC the wiring made it fit perfectly on the driver's side fender well, so that's where it lives

Yeah if the coolant and radiator for the 360 had been in better shape when I pulled the engine, I'd do just that. But I think there was a rust factory somewhere in that cooling system. I'm afraid if I don't replace the heater core while I've got the chance, I might regret it later.

Hey folks, I'm back!

Finally started working on this thing again. Today got the PSI harness on the engine and trans. It's raining today, but it's supposed to be nicer tomorrow, so I might get something done bigger. I ordered some parts.. Trying to get things moving again.

Pictures soon.

So, I'm working on this again. I've been picking at it for a few minutes here and there when I have the time and mental wherewithal. I got the manifolds, plugs, coils, plug wires and assorted stuff back in place. Today I went out to pull-a-part and cut off some nice electrical connectors and started working on the control box for the Dakota Digital dash.

So I'm looking at the engine portion of the OEM GW underhood harness. The body portion is nicely separated, so lights, horn, etc is easy enough. However, I'm kicking myself for not marking each plug as I took it loose of the 360. The only things I have marked are some obvious ones, the HVAC blower, blower resistor, wiper motor and the A/C clutch.

I'm trying to think of anything else I actually need. Starter solenoid wire from the key. The PSI harness supplies pretty much everything else, and the dakota dash takes care of the temp, oil, fuel gauges.

Any input would be appreciated.

Here's what I did with the VFD box for the dash. Thank you to the Honda minivan that died so I could have it's connectors. :D

I knew the GM column thing. Looks just like the steering wheel from my grandma's monte carlo. Didn't know about the Ford ignition. You'd think that at that late date in the game, they'd borrow stuff from Chrysler, you know... being owned by them. :D
