1968 J3000 3/4 ton conversion

Placeholder post for my build.

Started with:
1968 J3000 1/2 ton, 327 2bb, d44 front and rear, T18/d20, fleetside

Currently:
65 cab and long Thriftside bed, 74.5 HD44 8lug front with 4.09, 1971-73 Jeep D60 rear with disc brake conversion, 4bb swap on 327, Pertronix ignition, 38" Super Swampers.

Similar to my J4000 I had. Rear axle was J20 and just bolted in. At the same time I flipped the rear shackle down with a pry bar before bolting up the shocks. It really needed angle shims (which I bought much later but never got to put in because I rolled the truck swerving to avoid a horse on a downhill switchback on gravel.)
