would you by chance have held onto the upper part of the old steering column? i need a turn signal cam for my 1967 j3000. i live in the southern mojave desert and that kind of stuff dry rots. (at least i don't have to deal with rust, on the bright side)
BTW-ride sure is purdy...

I do still have the column and the turn signals worked fine. I'd be happy to send it to you if I can figure out how to remove it. I probably won't be able to get to it until this weekend though.
actually, if you are willing, could you shoot me a price for the column with it's wiring intact? i live in the mojave desert, which is great for parts by way of rust....but insulation and seals are usually shot. i still have some wiring issues to tend to-and i haVEN'T been able to find a simplified wiring diagram, meaning a color coded one. so, i will be posting the color diagram when i finish it. i have a welder, so i can even use my bolt flange if you are willing to part with the whole column.
Now I want a new master cylinder! And I could upgrade and get a vac booster! One more thing I noticed about our trucks: I've got similar mirrors to yours but not exactly alike. I was just out at my folks' house and drove the truck last weekend but forgot to get some fresh pics.

Ya power brakes went together pretty easily and was a huge improvement. I picked up the mirrors on Amazon awhile back. I forget the brand though. How's yours comin along??

Got new tires put on today, 35x12.50r15 Goodyear MT/R Kevlar. I can actually relax a bit when I drive now. No more wandering on the street or "dead zones" in the steering wheel. Pics to follow!
few questions, did you put on a lift or just larger tires? What did you do to get the power brakes booster in there? can you go a little more indepth on the disk brake install?
thx

The tire clearance comes from a 3 inch body lift that was put on by a PO. The truck had 38" swampers on it when I got it so I actually went to a smaller tire. The body lift isn't my preference but I haven't had the money for springs yet.
The brake booster is a 7 inch dual diaphragm unit with corvette MC I picked up off eBay. I went with 7" because that's what the stock booster was. I used the brackets from a 67 j3000 and got the firewall spacer out of an early 70s wagoneer I believe. I also used the brake pedal from the 67 bc the pushrod on the booster didn't line up with the manual brake pedal.
The disc conversion was a kit I bought from thejeepguy.com. I also replaced the spindle bolts with studs for extra strength.
Wow, I haven't tuned into this thread in a bit and the whole front bumper install came out great! I think I'd like to make some replacement horizontal sections that bolt to the top edge of the bumper and fill in the gap from there to the front valance. Mine were all rotten so I just removed them a while back. It really looks better with those pieces in place, now that I see another bumper that has them in there. Cool lights too...I saved these "Iodine" rectangular yellow fogs that the original owner of my truck mounted on a bent piece of flat bar. I didn't really dig where he mounted the lights over the winch on mine but I found someone selling some NOS parts for these lights and will try to restore and remount them this summer, but more like where you have your round ones mounted. Thanks for the pics!

I really like how it turned out and the bumper seems solid with my homemade mounts. I need to add some brackets from the frame to the ends of the bumper.
The jeep's running strong. I've been drivin it around town on the weekends and using it to haul gravel, dirt, and bark. Sure is good to be drivin it:)
Any chance you could post a picture of you're drag link setup up front? Were running the closed knuckle Dana 44 on my dads jeep as well with the spring over axle and confused as to how were going to have clearance for the drag link. Really like the matte black on the jeep btw
