I went back to the wrecking yard to pull the whole steering column of the 69 Wagoneer, and when I moved the engine off the steering shaft I found these underneath it on the frame:
Weird. They did not fit the aftermarket ignition, but wouldn't unlock the doors either.
I did not pull the column- not enough time, but I did pull the tranny to t-case adapter to sell.
So it wasn't too bad of a day.
I'm working on the vintage aftermarket roof rack this afternoon:
The wood slats might be pricy. I am going for oak. I might buy hardwood flooring and rip it down; here's a sample:

While I'm working on a roof rack for the panel, 62Thriftside is sanding his cab. Yeah, it was painted back to the DOT green, but he's trying his hand at mechanically aging the paint for practice.
It's a startling contrast between the "aged" DOT Green and the fresh factory Spruce Tip Green in the jambs.
