Thanks for the compliments....I'm having a bit of trouble with the rear trim. We are adding the upper trim , what we are calling "spear" style. Normally seen on earlier Wagoneers it enclosed the wood grain but was also sometimes around a contrasting color....anyone have any pictures of the with this trim is applied at the rear sbivebthe taillights
? I am seeing a few on line that have a thicker upper trim.. just want it to look right.

Thanks for the pictures, they helped... Still looking for the vertical trim pieces that close off the rear above the taillights. Painted yesterday, should have it back at our shop by Tuesday.... getting closer! This project has been a lot of work, and is still a few weeks from being complete...if ever. Stopping at an auto glass shop so they can reinstall the rear side glass... took it out myself. But let the pros install. then back to our shop , Installing roof rack and the new trim. For now we will put the original interior back in. On October 20th its going for new carpet and door panels.

first pics are at the body shop, then st the glass shop getting rear side glass installed. Back at our shop now time to put it back together for the last time. Car show on the 20th...here we go!

putting trim and interior bits back on. Added a stainless screen to the cowl vent. Had a little help from the next generation... the "dyno mat" in the doors makes an amazing difference. The tires and wheels are still the mock ups. New steelies ( painted to match the white roof/stripe) and BFG KOs in the near future.

Still desperate to find the rear close off trim peice....but things are moving forward. Razor grille installed, and the lower trim on passenger side. Also have the tailgate chrome installed...but forgot to take pics. More trim and hopefully emblems tomorrow.

The wagon wheels were always just for mock up and testing. The new wheels are plain steelies 15x8 painted to match the white on the body. The white is actually very close to the original factory wheel color. We still have some things to do under the hood. We also have to rethink our sir compressor/air tank mounting, and plumbing. The interior will be taken back out and completely redone... some orange plaid will be involved (think older VW). Will also be adding round front side marker lights from a 68 dodge...and some recovery d ring mounts will be cut through the front bumper....the list grows...but it is nice to have it out and presentable. It drives very nicely, perhaps just a bit on the stiff side on jarring bumps...but the overall feel is very a modem suv-ish with a touch of of holy smokes this thing rocks! Cruises 60 at 2100 rpm. Smokes the tires in first and second gears with little effort. Climbs and two tracks very well. I will post more pics if it in action soon.

The front coilovers have dual springs #250/#300 ....the rear coils are from AEV And are meant for a four door JK Wrangler with 2.5" lift...some tuning to do...but it is close.

Did you end up modifying the heater box?
What did you do for A/C?

No ac...customer didn't want it....engine bay not finished but I will post pics. Left heater box stock...radio will be mounted under seat. The punch list is still kind of long...lol...plenty of little jobs left to do
