I've bookmarked this thread. It's like a steady diet of informative and inspiring photos that are leading to an awesome finished product!

What kind of paint did you use on the dash and dash pad? Is it the same paint for the metal dash and the pad?

Yes it is the same i used SEM color coat satin it is for vinyl or other plastic parts but I don’t like it on metal i either didn’t prep metal right or it didn’t stick real well because it scratches off the metal parts fairly easy.

Light bar looks good.

Have you had to do any metal repair to the tailgate? Mine is slightly bent along the bottom edge. I've seen it happen to others that got used hard. It rubs badly on the rear edge of the bed.

I just had a little bit of cracks and rust around the hinge points and i just cut that out and repaired.
On yours Take it off truck and If its bent or bowed you can stick a chunk of wood under the ends and wack it with a sledge hammer or large dead blow hammer in cernter section.

Wow, you're absolutely flying. The diamond-stitched sections are killer. I really dig those! What kind of seats?

The seats are out of 97-98 chevy suburban without those funky seat belt in backs and the center is out of like a 04 or so gm work truck with the cup holder in front
Thanks for the great comments !

Where did you get the new dash? Or did you restore it? I have one and it's rough up top where the dash speaker was.
