Fsj whitewall tires

Post by Jasonjoli »

I feel like tire sizes been covered several times and I'm not sure if I've missed something but I'm looking to increase the size of the whitewall tires on a stock fsj without a lift kit. I'm having trouble finding any whitewall tires larger than 235 / 75 R15. Has anyone had any luck finding and installing a larger/wider Whitewall tire. I like the stock look but feel like the wagon looks like it's on ice skates

The user in this thread has some BFG KO3's with white walls: http://fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15190

You should be able to fit some 30x9.50's with out any issues on stock wheels and no lift.

These are exactly that size haha, I didn't want anything to rub so I went with this size.

Also I got these from dbtires.com, they are pricey but it's a quality product with an immense amount of customization. They took my factory KO2's and put white walls on them.

To my knowledge, Hankook is the only cheap white wall option, and they only run up to 235/75/15. BUT, they are a super good tire that look good. I ran a set on my last 79 Wagoneer.
1982 Wagoneer Limited 5.3L Vortec 4L60E swap - finished/restored - sold - bought back - sold again
1979 Wagoneer 360 TH400 1339 QT - built into perfect daily driver - sold
1981 J10 Sportside Honcho - finished/restored - sold
1979 Cherokee Golden Eagle - 5.3L Vortec 6L80E swap - finished/restored - sold
1967 Super Wagoneer - sold, too much work
1978 J10 Golden Eagle - finished/restored - sold
1962 Rambler Classic Cross Country Wagon - current project, wife's daily driver - she'll never let me sell it
