1986 grand wagoneer lift project

Post by scalescj5 »

I bought this Wagoneer a year-and-a-half ago 100,950 miles.
After rebuilding the carburetor replacing lot of vacuum lines jeeps up and running good .next the lift decided on a SOA and shackle flip for the rear ordering Parts from bjsoffroad and high steer from Sky Offroad ImageImageImageImageImageImage

If it's upside down and you lift it are you actually lowering it?

I just turned my screen upside down. Looks great!

But in all seriousness, how's the ride quality and handling characteristics so far?

The Jeep still looks good. Like those factory 10 hole wheels too!

It's good to see an Australian build on here!

(If you get an Imgur account and upload there, you can rotate pictures that wind up wrong...)

Yeah I'll have to work on the picture thing and download that app .next for the Jeep I need to relocate the rear track bar mount on the axle work on some sway bar disconnects and see if I can get the volt gauge to work I am not overly attached to those rims and somebody's interested in buying them.
I still have the original rims I'm going to keep those and probably look for some aftermarket rims

I need to do tie rods and bushings...the leaf springs on mine are flat...no life in them at all... Nice ride!!!

Nice, I need to do the same... just can't afford the steering components yet, I guess I need to acquire them slowly.
