<still drooling>

Worked with a guy today that has a 2000 F250 that has antenna very similar to the FSJ mast style. Good to know. Probably will be using a stock one. Maybe need an antenna cable but may have that worked out.

Okay got the radio.Pretty nice unit,the install takes a bit do to lining up the post to the right width and depth.Had to cut the left bracket some to clear the ash try slide but other then that straight forward install.Going to install the rear mount brace to the back of the ash tray housing since it's in line with the back of the unit.Also changed out the knobs with the old ones they just looked better. One thing to keep in mind if you're looking at this radio it does not come with any type of face plate,they're extra so a perfect dash is a must.
Image
Cleaned the ashtray and cig.liter to day the cig liter we repainted the letters that say lighter.
Image
Other then some surface rust it looked like the ashtray we did never had a smoke in it,same with the lighter looked like no use.
Also have to take a look at straightening the top edge of the tail gate has a nice bow/donw on theright side.

During the rain the other day did use it to wet sand for awhile,using 400 grit to wet sand before the final caots of primer.
Image
Today also got the bow out of the tail gate,and the dash is back together,also fired her and let her run abit.I'll get the pic's of the finished dash posted tomorrow ran out of daylite.
