Got the choke dialed in, changed the oil, cleaned out front diff and put in fresh Royal Purple, top off QT with 10 oz of fluid, found the loose connection on fuel pump and fixed it. Phoebe pulled her biggest load home from Ignacio yesterday.

Waking up this thread for an update. The Mallory HEI was crying the blues in Tucson a couple weeks ago. We had to borrow another HEI to get here home. The replacement is a new Mallory I had purchased for the 76 Waggy.

Just put the new Mallory on the 401 and she is happy to have a new distributor.

We also ended up with some spare parts from the trip so there are 2 new modules in the glove box. I hope the old Mallory can be fixed, if not it is going to burn in the next slash pile fire. The first order of business before the install was to replace the broken center button that connects the coil to the rotor. :banghead:

Phoebe took a rock in her original body windshield which ran right away and just got a new one installed yesterday. She was originally scheduled for 2 chip repairs on Thursday. I love almost everything about living in Colorado except the flying rocks.

The Procomp AT tires got used up since the ressurection. Upgraded to 32s on 81 Laredo 15x8 chrome spokes yesterday. Don't worry, hub caps will be coming. ;)

Just read through all 19 pages and wow! Great looking waggy and so awesome to see so many people join together to get her back on the road. Definitely a great group of people on here.

How is that Tempshield bubble insulation holding up? Curious how it would do after a couple years of use. I'm looking at a cheaper alternative like that.

Hello. I did not see the previous post until now. The floor insulation is holding up fine, thanks.

Phoebe is getting pretty regular use since we brought her home from Tucson. She has even hauled her share of hay in the back to keep the yard ornaments fed. I installed a new Ramsey chain in the QT last July. This July it had 10,000 miles on it and had 5/8" slack. We are up to 12,000 miles on the chain now. The radiator started leaking last month so I got a new 3 row brass/copper one installed along with much better steel tranny cooling lines donated by Tad. We will be getting different door seals for her as the two front doors leak a bit of water at the door sill in heavy rain.
