Couple pic's of the rack going on.Tad welded all the brackets in place so they wouldn't get lost in the head liner.once it was fit we removed it so it can get welded and painted. We will be welding the frame so that bolts aren't need.

I am going to call them tomorrow and probably pull the trigger on the radio. (actually, I just emailed them) We have 1 or 2 stock FSJ mast antennae in the stash but wondering if we shouldn't go with something new for this application. We don't need to spend much on speakers. I think the front doors were sans speakers and the ones in P1 were roached.

WOW. ...SCHWANG on the rack work y'all! :-bd

Is the AM/FM/CB you measured the Panasonic unit that was in P1?

OK, this is a 76 Cherokee dash I am using for reference. It will be replacing the trashed dash in the 76 Wag. I didn't realize there were differences here. A face plate would be in order. The CJ face plate shown on the web site should fix that up.

Pretty sure we can use the '82 WT digital clock.
As soon as I find my crowbar I'll figure out how to remove it.

Good News: The 2x4.25 radio face opening is the more standard AMC template and is a perfect fit for the CJ7/Scrambler radio kit. The one I measured in the 76 Cherokee dash at the house would be more of a challenge to fit. I am ready to move on this radio solution. Sending you a PM Bob. :-h

^:)^ THAT is beautiful! Very nice work. B-)

The radio is ordered and going to Bob's by UPS ground. The RetroSound company does not have a radio antenna compatible for the FSJ. The FSJ antenna masts screw to the sheet metal from the outside. I will be digging out the stock spare(s) we have. More to be revealed on antenna topic.
