I need to replace my passenger front fender on a 1988 JGW. I found one for sale from a 1979. Can someone tell me if the 1979 is a direct
replacement on a 1988? Thanks.

A 79 will have different holes for chrome trim vs the wood that came on an 88. Overall shape and mounting holes should be the same. Make sure the fender is from a wagoneer our narrow track Cherokee. A wide track Cherokee or Jeep truck will have a different fender flare.
