First day arriving home in the Bahamas from Upstate NY. 1979 Cherokee Chief WT, 360 auto.

This was taken 2 nights ago.

Shes come a long way me thinks.

Anyone else have and first day and almost (cause they are never finished) finished pictures?
1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief, 360V8, auto ,QT, rust.
1995 Jeep YJ, 2.5 4 cyl. Sold, yay.

Bought it to part it out but the only rust was on the Top. Sever rust along the windshield and door jams. I drove it for several years until th top started peeling off.

The guys that painted it just roughed up the chrome and primed it then matt black. Nothing special but it seems to be holing well.

The mirrors are original 60's jeep.
The mounts are billet aluminum that some one was selling right here at FSJN.
I will dig around and see if I can find who it was .

Thanks! It's a Tad Shackle Flip in the rear and technically a SOA on the front. The front axle is from a 1978 Ford and the perches were already on the top (and in the correct location). The springs are alcan. They only had about 1" of lift to them and I think they have now settled.

It's pretty flexy for a leaf spring setup.
