Offy intake

Post by Knucklehead »

Anyone run the Offy Dual Port intake? I am looking at the one that has split intake runners for each port.

From what I have heard, they have a strong low end and go into mid range, and then fall on their butts.

The 360 isn't gonna get wound to the nuts anyway. Might just be a good fit for a daily driver/wheeler.

I ran it on a 6 cyl and discovered that if I wanted more top end, I had to reverse the carb. I also built a plate to change the angle of the airflow at the head to direct it more at the valve than the back wall of the port (like they did later on the 4.0Ls)
