A good while back I swapped a 7120 head on my 258. I had found a used (pick-n-pull) 2100 with 1.08 venturis. and used it for a while, but was having problems even after going through it. So, I bought a new one off of ebay. The guy said he'd tune it for me. I have it on now, and the truck will fire when cranking but won't start. When I tap the gas and crank more, it runs away to full throttle immediately. After some futile googling, I tried a new float, needle, and an inline fuel pressure regulator. None of them helped.
Now that I'm living closer to home for the summer, I want to get it on the road.
If anyone has any input it'd be greatly appreciated.
