Was wondering what kind of back spacing those of you are running that are rolling with 15x10 wheels and 33x12.5's or any 12.5 tire. And yes there will be fender trimming. I know that stock back spacing is 3.75 and was wondering if 2.5 was enough or I should go with an even smaller amount of back spacing.

2.5" is going to push the tires WAY out. It also tends to lead to steering shimmy on the HWY, and will require a lot more trimming.
If you are on a NT, I would suggest sticking with a 8" wide wheel. You will have to adjust your front bump stops a bit, but it will mean you have to trim less.
When I was NT I ran 33x12.5's on 8" rims with 3.5" of back spacing.
Rubbed a little on the front springs at full lock, adjusted the stops to keep that under control.
That was with trimming the front about 2" And the rear about 1.5"

I run some 15x10 on 35x12.5x15 bfgoodrich tires and the rims have 3.75 inch backspace and I have more problems with my wheel hubs and spindles breaking. I've broke 2 hubs, 3 spindles including one today and that's just from driving easy on the street

Wow, that seems quite excessive, it makes me wonder if you have something else going on.
Were they the same hub?
I have a buddy here that is running the same combo with no ill effects.

I think I would have to agree Jeff. I've run 3.75" BS for 10 years with no problems whatsoever. The new tires and wheels I installed a couple months ago are 3.5" BS and other than a minor readjust to the steering stops no problems...

They were the factory ones from 40 years ago, but the replacement ones i have on there now are aftermarket and ive had no problems with them so far. The spindles were also factory jeep parts, im thinking about sleeving them on the outside and running bigger bearings so therefore im keeping the same inner diameter for the axle shaft and maybe that would fix my problem??
