Fuel Pump.

Got me a Carter p4070 electric fuel pump. Where are you guys mounting these in a 90 Grand Wagoneer?

I have an in tank. But I hear they mount them on the frame rail. Also wrap an insulator around it for sound deadening because most complain of the sound.

As close to the tank and as low as you can get it.

I have my Mr. Gasket mounted on the rear cross brace.

If you do not have a lift, the rear mounting is tricky, it is hard to access.

I mounted mine between the engine and the TC, seems very close to the exhaust... and yes it is, I tried to mount a shield out of plastic once and it melted... but I have been happy with it. At some point I moved it to the rear area, but the lack of lift forced me to mount it on the cargo floor, and it was so noisy, that after 2 years I moved it back to the initial location, which has the isolator bracket
