Cruise Control & Edel Performer Manifolds

Any of youz ever tried putting your cruise control back on after installing an Edelbrock Performer manifold?

I will be installing my new manifold soon, but would like to have the best of both worlds.

I don't see why you couldn't. I used the OEM throttle cable brackets by spacing them up from the manifold. IIRC, I used some oversized nuts as a sleeve on the bolt.

your going to have to modify the bracket as the carburator will sit a bit more far forward than your stock manifold did. all i did was drill a hole and just use one bolt on one of the brackets. its pretty simple to figure out. as far as using your factory air cleaner i assume your gonna install a 4 bbl carb with it? the factory air cleaner will not provide enough air to the carburetor. i know ill probably get crap for this from all the "after market air cleaner nazi's" but its either that or adding a second snorkel to your factory air cleaner. there really is no performence issues with my aftermarket open air cleaner. my truck runs great and cool. good luck!
