Extended Radius Arms

Post by Nikkormat »

Some ranger guys have figured out how to make radius arms flex well without wristing the arms. Check this out: http://www.rmftc.com/howtos/extendedrad ... sarms.html

I'm considering copying that setup closely for my J10. What do you guys think? I'm looking to gain a little height over my 3 inch bastard packs and a smoother ride. I was going to obtain this through a shackle reverse, but this seems like a better option and helps me have an excuse to swap in a high pinion 44.

Long arm suspensions always work better, this is hardly anything new ;)

It is an easier way to move over to coils than a four link. No need to worry about triangulation and or anti squat calculations or anything. Just those two links and a track-bar. Well, and finding a way to squeeze coils in.
