Spring Over Axle Lift With Crossover Steering Question

Post by Jeffsj »

I am exploring the possibility of doing a S.O.A. lift with crossover steering kit and I was wondering if this setup decreases the turning radius?

If a drop pitman arm is used, that can decrease turning radius. If the stock pitman arm is used, then no. Well, unless the high steer arm is longer than the stock steering arm on the knuckle. That would decrease turning radius. But most of the ones I have seen are shorter or the same.

Awesome, thanks guys! I just don't want to sacrifice turning radius. I love how tight these things turn for a bigger vehicle. I get a lot of comments about it on the trails.

Keep in mind the bigger tires will hit the springs unless you are WT or a pickup.
