Considering doing a rear disc conversion, as the stock brakes are ok at best. I have 15" rims, will the typical eldorado caliper conversion clear 15's or do I need bigger rims? I will likely go hydroboost and keep rear drums or do nothing at all if I have to replace wheels/tires.
Ok so it depends on what year eldorado... most Eldorado had a 3.5 back spacing on 15s at 7.5 wild for idk maybe 20 years 50s to late 70s then went to 16s I think from 79 up. So to make a guess I'd imagine 70s are your best bet and would probably work great.
If you have slight clearance issues you can shave the caliper down a touch.
I put them on my 77 NT and love them and did not mess with the proportioning valve or booster. With the W/T
you might be able to mount the caliper on top like they did. But on my N/T it had to be lower toward the back.
