I know it sounds strange but I am wanting to put a flat windshield on my wagon..a Vulcan would say it's illogical but since I've already cut off the top, logic is not something I use very often..i'm making plans on putting 35s on and adding some custom flat flares after trimming the fenders, also a roll bar like the CJs have.try to make it look in the spirit of a military gladiator.the original looks to be about 62 wide at the bottom corners.I don't want to go any less than 59 inches wide..any ideas ?..also I'm new here and could not upload an avatar because it's not the right size.
Note that cowl seller claims to have access to a M715 windshield (that's not broken?) for $300. Maybe you could work a package deal ... I would want the cowl if I were doing this.

Hey thanks for the ideas..at first I didn't like the look of the M715 upright windshield although I cut the wagoneer w off because it leaned too far back for my custom look that I wanted..I wanted it to lean back just a little like the CJs, but now I have decided the M715 windshield is awesome looking..I removed the dash pad and underneath is a steel dash.I think I can bolt or weld a 2inch angle across the outer edge for my windshield frame to sit on..I will need to cover the area where the original windshield sat on the curved lip...one problem is that my VIN tag will be on the outside..I need to call someone here in Florida to find out if I can move the tag elsewhere on the dash or if it's ok to cover it..might have to leave it and make a small sight glass so it can be seen..even though there is another tag on the firewall, they can be very serious about these things..also, I'm thinking of building my own windshield frame maybe out of 1.5 square tubing.I will include the ability to fold down..thanks again everyone for your help.
That is straight up sexy. The back is like an old Defender, the running gear and stance look better than a H1, and it has classic Wagoneer body lines.. with the M715 touches. With the squaring of the windshield and "above the shoulder" on the body, those flares look just right to me. Much better than the M715 version, on this particular rig.
Would love to see the inside.
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.
