Radio loses power then comes back randonly ?

Not sure if this is a sign the radio is going bad or something else. but randomly latetly my hesdunit which is some sony unit that came with it is going completetly black no power then comes back on.


Is the radio dying or could this be something else with the Jeep ?

Could be in the power feed. Get a cheap multimeter and wire it in to the radio's power feed and ground to the radio case. Turn on the meter while you drive, and look at the reading when the radio blanks out. If the power does not go away, it's the radio.
