TF727 Tube and Dipstick

Post by suttonlive »

I am replacing my tired 401 in my Cherokee with a built 401 and had a bench rebuild done on the transmission. The shop did not return the fill tube or the dipstick even after multiple return trips on my part to get it. :( So I am in need of a fill tube and dipstick for a AMC Torque Flight 727. The Cherokee is a 78 but does not have the 78 drive train.

I don't really want to purchase a Lokar style or aftermarket one when the stock one will do me just fine.

Anyone have one I can purchase or can point me towards where to find one.

Thanks,
CS

your local Napa should have complete units, you will need to adjust/find a way to adjust for Low and high level marks.

I will wait until the truck is working and know how the rebuild goes. I had one done there about 9 years ago and it is still doing good. It is a small shop. Doubtful I will use again, or they will be in business the next time I need a transmission rebuilt.

I have held my tongue when a tongue lashing is justified. Just how I approach life.

Yea well i found that doesnt get you anywhere.. sometimes threats and lashing out wins.. Like when ebay recently tried to screw me over 250$ on a cpu i sold a guy.. he had it for one day wanted a return.. when i get it the heatspreader was sanded so all the serial numbers and model number was gone.. the corner of the core itself was chipped and he admitted to using liquid metal on itwhich is conductive.

They sided with him... until i threatend to report them to the FBI on IC3.GOV which is an FBI website where you can file reports based on bad business practices and stuff.

Everyone on the computer forums said to move on and so forth but nope sorry i dont do that... After i threatend them i got my 250$ back for him damaging my cpu
