factory AC control replacement

Post by 81waggy »

The fan switch for my factory AC now has 2 speeds...hi, and off and hi is getting harder to find. Does anyone sell a direct replacement switch? or do I just need to swap out (and rewire) the switch and motor for parts like these:

This is the switch I went with. Three speed switch. I think three different companies make this switch.

Wire up you 12V source to the B post, then a jumper wire from the C post to the thermostat, then you blower motor to the B post. Works just fine.

But you will lose the neat pre-cool feature.
