a/c line

Post by TeaBag »

I need an a/c line from evaporator to the sight gauge on the high pressure side. I have the older style evaporator circa 1988.

Anybody know where to get this?

Any decent AC shop should be able to make one.

yup, if the vehicle is 85 and older the fitting at the evap is flare #6 FMO I would lose the quick disconnect and go all the way to the drier (behind grille) which is usually a #6 female o-ring fitting, always a good idea to replace drier acts as a filter for ac, 86 and newer is all oring fittings btw

Thanks. I had a hose made without the sight glass and QD. I replaced the dryer and moved the compressor shut off switch to the dryer.

Surprisingly, I have a 91 with the older style evaporator. It’s a flare fitting at the evap and oring fitting at the dryer. Strange!
