Razor grill Refurb 78

Post by NorthGaAire »

Hello,

I'm working on my razor grill - getting the hardware correct.

What screws are used to hold the razor grill and headlight surround rings on my 78 Cherokee?

Each headlight surround has 3 screws. Two in the inner top and one from the bottom outer

The grill has four black screws in the black paint strip--And 2 screws outboard of each front turn signal

See photo below.

A previous owner thought that dry wall screws would be fine. :banghead:

Thanks.

Mine are just simple pan headed coarse thread screws. You may have to paint the heads black for the ones in the paint strip. But that is really all you should need.

I just used stainless pan head screws of various lengths. I hate rust, they have held up great so far.
