83 Wagoneer Brake Booster

Post by Matt24601 »

I pulled my brake booster and master cylinder from my Jeep and went in to Autozone to replace them and left confused. Their computer shows a lot of "compatible" parts. Anybody know a part number for what I have? Single or Dual diaphragm? 6 1/2 or 3 1/2 inch brake booster? Rod length? Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

My '84 Wag's is dual, thicker than 3 1/2", prolly 6 1/2" if that's the only other choice. Could measure the rod tomorrow.

I've got a rebuilt from about 20 years ago I never used. It was installed and is rusty but should be good. Had a plug in the vac port the whole time.

I decided to use hydroboost so I don't have to run a vacuum pump.

$35 Plus Shipping. PM me if you're interested.

I appreciate the offer SJTD. I looked online at NAPA and Oreillys and they were both showing the same part number : 50-1051. I used that number on some other part sites and it came back the same. Went ahead and ordered off of Amazon. I'm sure they're all drop shipping from the same warehouse somewhere.
