lonely connector - what is it?

Hi Forum,

one more episode of what´s this - please help me understanding...

There was no switch or whatever on it...goes to the heater control. Since i got rid of my AC, is it still needed?

Looks like the main power connector for the instrument cluster. It could be the connector for the analog cruise control module as well.

I believe it is for the blower switch located within the AC duct under the steering column

Weird, looks like blower motor resistor connector, but missing a wire...
‘89 usually has combined HVAC resistor mounted in firewall/cowl.

Rock auto has that part as blower motor connector and blower switch connector:

This is where the power comes in from each speed on the climate control. There should be another heavy gauge wire going out to the actual blower motor. Believe mine is orange color.

Still can´t figure what goes on that connector, since my AC is gone...any chance to get a picture of that thing connected? If there is nothing connected to on my Jeep, can i just rip it out? I know, i doesn´t really hurt, but tidying up things feels just good :-) Once i am on the wiring...
