Measure from the center caps to the fenders. If you measure from the wheels youll get an in accruate reading based on tire tread size
Also the quarter panels are 2 3/4 inches lower BY DESIGN if you look closely and even measure from the top of the wood trim to the fender, and then top to quarter panel wheel wells youll see the fender is 10 inchs and quarter panel is 12 3/4.
So this famous so called waggy rear sag... isnt really a rear sag... the BODY panels in the rear are just lower thats all. In actuality the front is even with the rear if you take the 2 inches on the quarter panels off (the drivers side front/rear will be lower because of the gas tank though) If you dont believe me look closer... Notice the wood trim is shorter in the front and taller in the rear ? Now measure it youll see. Im surprised no one has noticed this
I actually have a brand new made in USA stock OEM leaf springs (not that crown brand ) front and rear. And my height at the center of the wheel caps to the wheel wells is 18 front and 16 1/2 rear.
If you are lower then this, then your springs are sagging
read this thread, i have pics and info on new springs
