Ignition lock HELP!

Got my column tore down trying to replace the lock cylinder. Where do I press to get this thing to come out? Can't see where the release should be in any hole.

Watched a few youtube vids, and made an educated guess; then made a hole. Got lucky. And wasted an old dart, for the hole. Cylinder was still hard to move for the first half inch but, it came out. Waiting on a ride since the cylinder I bought this morning came pre-broke. Big surprise, right? Looks like a returned part, to me.

Hole came through in the slot where it should have been, on the inside so, it wasn't burrs or anything causing the hang-up. Just dirt, I suspect.

And done. It is now necessary to put a key in the ignition lock cylinder to start my EFI'd truck. Nothing scarier than knowing: all it takes for anyone to take your $4K investment, is a turn of a non-existent key.

Reminds me of pimp my ride with a grand wag9neer... the guys wagoneer was a true pos and to statt it all you had to do was pull a lever on the steering column lol
