Yea ima just take the wtap off and it it for my a.c line that doesnt like being above the manifold.

Ill look into getting new cables ans a starter. Im not sure what gauge mine is i know its bigger then 6 gauge. I suspect is either 2 or 4 from whoever replaced it.

Will have to look online for cables.. autozone or advanced dont sell built in battery terminal cables.

6 AWG works just fine, as long as your connections are CLEAN!

Well i cleaned the terminals like you guys said even though they looked clean.. lots of dust came off em. Took the cables out of the clamped terminal and cleaned them with a wire brush as well. Hooked it all back up making sure it was clamped tight on the cables.

And i also added a 6ga negative cable from tje battery terminal to the engine mount. And cleaned the 3 inch engine mount cable as well and made sure the nut was tightend.. as i mentiined the short block to engine mount wire i could wiggle around the nut wasnt tight.

Its 100f out and so far now my Jeep starts with 1 crank when its hot.

Thats good. Thanks for the help guys.. i didnt think my terminals were dirty they looled fine but now it works good.

As for cable sizes im not good at gauging cable sizes but going off at the 6ga and 4ga negative cables i have i can tell the positive cable from the alt to battery is probly 4-6ga from the battery to the starter it looks 2-4GA and from the battery to the little box thing on the fender it looks like a 10ga wire.
