I still don't see "Desert Sand" though. :(

You're going to find most of these colors are obsolete. there will be no mix formula for them .

I just find a color very similar I like better to the original and go with that. that doesn't work so well if you're trying to do a repair or touch up but on 40 year old paint it's going to be a custom match situation anyway.

I've been buying this paint for awhile. Repainting fender by fender, for my rattlecan resto. I love this paint. It comes out great.
I've learned lighter colors are easier to paint.
I use a 2-part epoxy matte top coat from eastwood, also from an aerosol can.
