Hey all. I'm going to be replacing the transfer case chain and will probably go with the mile marker part time kit. My question is, since I will have the rear annular bearing out should I replace it too? I'd rather not spend the extra 50 bucks but if it's stupid not too I will.
If it looks good and feels good I wouldn't. I'd rather have a used American made original Timken than a new Chinese POS bearing.
If you do replace it I've found SKF is the brand with the most US, Canada, France and England made bearings. I use a lot of bearings on various equipment I haven't had a problem with these.
