79 J10 transmission lines

Post by Magnus79 »

I have a pin hole in a tranny line and for the life of me I can’t find anyone that has these lines in stock. I want to replace both completely so I don’t have issues. Any recommendations for the TH400 lines for purchase??? Thanks in advance!

Hard line or soft line?

I assume you mean hard. I doubt you will find ready made ones. Only real option to to buy some hard line, a small bender, and a flaring tool. And then make them yourself. You could also have a transmission or most auto repair shops make them up.

Have you checked Inline Tube? it may be worth a call. The guys that work the phones have a deep knowledge base. I would ask for Greg. I'm pretty sure they have some Jeep th400 sets, maybe for the CJ's,

Thanks you for the response. I actually cut and flared my tranny lines tonight. I’m back in action. Bought the J10 from a younger person that said it doesn’t run. Guess what. Purs like a kitten. Saved this one from a junk yard and it is solid. So happy to have this J10. My father had one when I was a child. Hooked me on jeeps. My trail rig is a 17 Rubicon Recon. But I like the truck more.
