Anybody have a replacement for the tank filler and vent hose other than buying the hoses from BJs or Team Grand Wagoneer? I don't like the idea of spending $50 for 6 feet of rubber hose. I know they both have the flared ends and was wondering if anyone had a solution or work around.
Funny, I was just looking at ours. The wife's 91 pisses all over when filling the tank. I thought it was more "special" than 2 chunks of hose. I'm gonna try and see why hers is leaking (at the cap end, big hose, near the clamp). Hopefully it's not a big deal and I can just cut and stretch it. I can't see 50$ for a chunk of hose either.
I got mine from a place up in sparks Nv for the fill hose, the vent line from napa, if I remember correctly they where both well under $30 http://www.cir.net/

Can rubber hose be flared? Heat gun and something? I was thinking about getting a section of the bigger hose and then using a reducer barb or something to mate it to the smaller diameter hose.

I would suggest if it's split or dry rotted, try cutting the bad part out and replace with regular hose? Add a sleeve between the two pieces and quality clamps.
The hose has a layer of woven fiber so it will not want to stretch much. Go with the reducer.

I measured the inlets and outlets to get my inner hose diameters for replacement. The larger hose is 1" coming out of the gas cap and flares to 1.25" going into the gas tank. The smaller hose is .75" coming out of the gas cap and flares to 1" going into the gas tank. These would be inner diameters for replacement hose. Can anyone confirm those sizes before I go out and buy some new hose?

Gotcha. That sounds about right but I have no way to confirm. Thankfully my wife's is only leaking at the larger hose at the cap end. If I'm lucky I can cut and remount it.
So, I've found 1" and 3/4" fuel hose at Tractor Supply. I'm having a hard time finding 1.25" hose anywhere local. Anyone have any leads on where to look? DFW area if it's not a chain.
